Nursing Society Chapters, Regional Liaisons, and Cooperative Alliances The Transcultural Nursing Society has Chapters, Regional Liaisons, and Cooperative Alliances. To be a member of a Chapter or Regional Liaison, you must also be a member of the Transcultural Nursing Society. A
chapter is a formally recognized unit approved by the Board of Trustees. Chapter
members usually share common geographic areas, must be members of the
Corporation, and adhere to rules and by-laws of the Society.
Chapters may call meetings at any time and conduct conferences related t the
purposes of the Corporation. In accordance with the bylaws, a group may seek approval from the Board of Trustees to form a Chapter of the Transcultural Nursing Society. Such chapter must adhere to the goals and purposes of the Society. A "Request for Approval of a Chapter" form shall be completed by the Chapter Representatives and submitted to the Member-at-Large: Cheryl Elhammoumi, BSN, BA, RN, CCRN & Jewell Lightner, SPHR, MA
