2026 Keynote Announcement: Vincent Guilamo-Ramos

We are honored to welcome Dr. Vincent Guilamo-Ramos as our keynote speaker.

A nationally recognized nurse practitioner, researcher, and health equity leader, Dr. Guilamo-Ramos serves as Executive Director of the Institute for Policy Solutions and holds the Leona B. Carpenter Chair in Health Equity and Social Determinants of Health at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. He is also the founding Director of the Center for Latino Adolescent and Family Health (CLAFH).

For more than two decades, Dr. Guilamo-Ramos has led groundbreaking research focused on social determinants of health, health equity, HIV prevention and care, and family-based interventions that support the health and well-being of adolescents and young adults in underserved communities. His work has been funded by leading federal agencies, including the NIH, CDC, and SAMHSA, and has influenced policy, practice, and health outcomes nationwide.

An internationally respected scholar, Dr. Guilamo-Ramos has published extensively in premier journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, JAMA Pediatrics, and Pediatrics. His expertise has been featured in major media outlets, including CNN, The New York Times, NPR, and The Washington Post.

Through his leadership on the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS and service with organizations such as UnidosUS, Dr. Guilamo-Ramos continues to advance innovative solutions that address health disparities and improve outcomes for diverse communities.
