Conference Presenter Information

Transcultural Nursing Society (TCNS) 52nd Annual Conference

General Information

Acceptance of a presentation constitutes your agreement to register for the conference and pay the appropriate registration fee.

    • A non-refundable presenter deposit of $100 USD is required for each presentation
    • The deposit will be applied toward your full conference registration
    • The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable and is credited only to the individual who submits payment

Key Deadlines (2026):

    • Presenter Agreement & COI Forms Due: July 15, 2026
    • Presenter Deposit Due: August 1, 2026
    • Early Bird Registration Deadline: August 15, 2026
    • Final Presenter Registration Deadline: September 1, 2026
    • Poster Submission Deadline: October 1, 2026

Presentation Formats

Oral (Podium) and Panel Presentations

    • 45-minute sessions (includes Q&A)

Poster Presentations

    • Delivered in electronic format only
    • Details:
      • Conference App poster display (before, during, and after the conference)
      • Assigned an in-person breakfast discussion session on one day of the conference - Thursday, Friday or Saturday

Panel Presentations

    • Scheduled: Saturday, October 17, 2026 (10:00–11:00 AM)
    • Three presenters per panel
    • Each presenter: ~15-16 minutes
    • The moderator will coordinate session timing and flow

Poster Presentation Guidelines (Electronic Posters)

    • No printed posters required
    • Submit ONE PowerPoint slide only
    • Format:
      • 16:9 widescreen layout
      • Recommended font size: 30–40 pt
    • Keep content clear, concise, and readable

At the Conference

    • You will be assigned a breakfast session (Thurs/Fri/Sat)
    • ONE poster per table
    • Posters will be displayed during the discussion on a large screen TV
    • Posters remain available in the conference app throughout the event

βœ… You must include an email address on your poster for attendee questions


Presenter Responsibilities

All presenters are required to:

    • Register for the conference by September 1, 2026
    • Submit all required forms on time
    • Ensure presentations align with the conference theme and objectives
    • Provide presentation handouts/materials for attendees to download

Required Forms - Both Forms 1 & 2 must be submitted together from one email address for all individuals presenting.

Completed by the primary presenter on behalf of all presenters.

Must include:

      • Final presentation title
      • Final abstract (max 500 words; no references or graphics)
      • Presenter list (names, credentials, affiliations, location)

      • No edits accepted after August 15, 2026
      • Only presenting individuals will appear in the program brochure, daily schedule and evaluations
