We are pleased to introduce the first-ever Transcultural Nursing Society Member Portal, created to provide a centralized, secure, and user-friendly space for all TCNS members. This new platform brings together essential tools, resources, and member services in one location for the very first time.
The portal officially launches May 1, 2026, with early access beginning mid‑April.

*Not all members will receive an early access email right away. If you don’t receive one, you will still have full access to the portal on May 1, 2026, and nothing additional is required from you.

To prepare for launch, we recommend:
1. Watch for your early access email
The email will include your login instructions.

3. Update your member profile
Add your bio, areas of expertise, research areas, and personal details and preferences to help strengthen your engagement with the TCNS community.

*As with any brand‑new system, there may be a few areas that need refinement during the first days of launch. These are normal parts of bringing a new portal online, and updates will be made as promptly as possible. Thank you for allowing a reasonable time for adjustments as we ensure everything functions smoothly for all members.

Transcultural Nursing Society - Clinical Recognition Award 2026
Honoring Excellence in Clinical Practice
The Clinical Recognition Award celebrates a Transcultural Nursing Society member who exemplifies the highest standards of culturally congruent care in clinical settings. This distinguished honor recognizes a nurse whose transcultural expertise has profoundly impacted patient outcomes, whether through bedside care, community practice, or clinical consultation.
Nominees demonstrate a deep commitment to the values of transcultural nursing and actively promote culturally responsive care both publicly and professionally. Through their practice, they elevate the visibility and importance of cultural competence in healthcare, serving as role models for inclusive, patient-centered care.
All applications for the Clinical Recognition Award must be submitted by June 15, 2026. Submissions will be reviewed by an independent committee appointed by the Transcultural Nursing Society. This committee evaluates each application based on the established criteria and supporting materials.

Transcultural Nursing Scholar - Nominations 2026
On behalf of the TCN Scholars selection committee, we are pleased to announce that applications for 2026 scholars are now open, and the application website is live. The application deadline is April 15, 2026, and the nominees will be notified by May 15, 2026.
The selection committee is using an online application process with criteria and instructions for the scholar nominee, the primary scholar nominator, and the secondary scholar nominator.
